Ministry to Women
Tell the older women to behave as those who love the Lord should. They must not gossip about others or be slaves of wine. They must teach what is proper, so the younger women will be loving wives and mothers. Each of the younger women must be sensible and kind, as well as a good homemaker, who puts her own husband first. Then no one can say insulting things about God's message. Titus 2:3-5
Our hearts desire for women is to be saved and living out our roles as prescribed and clearly outlined in the Bible. Our goal is to come along side women to teach, encourage and support them in their pursuit of Biblical womanhood. In these times when feminist beliefs are prevalent and dominate our culture we must rely on the Bible and its consistent counsel, that is for all generations, to guide and direct us.
It is easy to allow the media and world opinion to shape our thinking about many things including the way women should conduct themselves as singles and married, with or without children, young or older. The Bible has much to say about the subjects that concern women, “the council of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations”. Psalms 33:11 His counsel is perfect, true, holy and always for our own good. God’s counsel and His thoughts are pure, reliable, and trustworthy for all generations. What a mighty God we serve.
God’s advice to single women is the same now as it was in previous generations. His standards of modesty, purity and integrity remain as true today as they did during the days when they were written. The Biblical guidelines for courtship and marriage are as relevant today as they were with Ruth and Boaz. Ladies we can never go wrong when we rely on God and His written Word as our guide in daily life.
